As the progressives have made us responsible for everyone's healthcare, they also have the task of keeping health care costs down. Obesity drives costs up. They can't stop people from eating, but they can try to reduce the source-- or what they perceive as the cause. If you don't like the nanny, dismantle the nanny state.
