Sarah Palin Flouts The Nanny

Monique Chartier

A friend remarked yesterday that Sarah Palin made some great points in her CPAC speech. Undoubtedly. But this was my favorite moment. (Apologies for the preceding ad.)

Click here for audience reaction in a double screen shot. Click here for an explanation which, of course, stars New York City's power-mad mayor. And a great rebuttal, involving Dr. Doom's conquering of the world, to the mayor's actions can be found here.

Comments

I wish there was some legal way to punish John McCain for bringing the vile, nauseating and repulsive idiot, Sarah Palin, and Levi Johnston into the spotlight

Politics is theater and entertaining a crowd of brain dead conservatives rubes is easy ....Its hard to believe America has degenerated this far, but when a woman this stupid can get a standing ovation for promoting bad health, you know the Republican Party has descended into hell..

Go away, Spammy. Your hate is boring....

As useless as Sammy's comments are, at least he is focusing on the subject of the article for once.

Sammy:
"dead conservatives rubes"

Conservative should not have been used in the plural. It is the wrong tense modify "rubes". We ain't all brain dead.

... lessee, and a salt shaker and a styrofoam fast food container and a tub of margarine.

All bans or proposed bans that have sprung from "the shriveled core of the tiny Bloombergian mind", as Christopher Hitchens described it so well.

Nanny-like people like Bloomberg are here to stay. As the progressives have made us responsible for everyone's healthcare, they also have the task of keeping health care costs down. Obesity drives costs up. They can't stop people from eating, but they can try to reduce the source-- or what they perceive as the cause. If you don't like the nanny, dismantle the nanny state.

Someone tell the brain damaged Left that their base-blacks, hispanics, Indians, high school dropouts, etc. are the most obese people in the country by far.
Try taking away their soda, cigarettes and ding-dongs.
I dare ya'.
