One of my favorite lines from Governor Romney's remarks:

I was actually hoping the president would bring Joe Biden along this evening, because he'll laugh at anything.

At the risk of sounding biased, I think Romney's performance blew Obama's away. Obama was pretty funny too but not even close. I also think it did more for Romney's image.

I'm no fan of the President, but I thought he matched Gov. Romney fairly well.

Card. Dolan was also very good, in both the humorous and serious parts of his talk.

Obama's turn

More than 1,600 were scheduled to attend the dinner. The menu includes poached lobster tail and dark chocolate tropical fruit cadeau. Tickets start at $2,500.
