Stanford 24, USC 23

Donald B. Hawthorne

I grew up in California, initially in the greater Los Angeles area where I was a huge UCLA fan - which meant never being a USC fan.

I then attended Stanford University for graduate school.

Stanford, a 41-point underdog with a first-time starter at quarterback, just beat USC - on USC's home field, ending USC's 35-game home winning streak.

Sweet!

This was coming. SC had too close a call with Washington last week.
And Harbaugh may just be something special.

Awesome win for the Cardinal. Made a 4th and 20 with a minute to go and scored the winning TD on a 4th down play. So so clutch! That game is why we all watch sports.
Congrats Don!
This time of the year is as good as it gets for us sports fans.
