9/11 Six Years Later
Mac Owens
I had a piece in NRO this morning about 9/11 and the meaning of victory. It is here. It's always important to remember that the war is over when the loser says its over, not the winner.

With the US Constitution shredded America is, and has, lost.
Posted by: PDM at September 11, 2007 4:04 PMGreat talking point from MoveOn hack "PDM". What do you offer as evidence that the Constitution has been "shred"?
Posted by: Warbucks at September 11, 2007 5:11 PMGuess you haven't been paying attention, Warbucks.
Oh, and I love how you attack the speaker and ignore the argument. Real classy. Shout the guy down.
Posted by: klaus at September 11, 2007 6:27 PMWhat argument Klaus? There's no argument to ignore... only opinion, and definitely nothing substantiated by any evidence a reasonably rational person would recognize.
Posted by: smmtheory at September 11, 2007 9:18 PMHey Warbucks, since when does defending the constitution make one a "Move on.org" flunky? When you speak Goldwater conservative language I guess that makes you a commie now? go watch Fox News and the 700 club, think its on now.
Posted by: Glennav8 at September 11, 2007 10:13 PMOver the last few years, talk about "shredding the Constitution" has generally been put forth by those demanding unquestioning obedience to whichever branch of government supports their particular agenda. Strangely, these people have no qualms about the unlimited expansion of legislative or judicial power, so long as it supports their isolationist agenda.
I don't see anything in this comments that shows this trend to be changing.
