Perhaps Rhode Islanders should be grateful to another legacy of the former Governor Carcieri for making it extremely difficult for laid off workers to contact state government in order to collect unemployment compensation. But the new Governor is ruining that by making improvements so that these newly unemployed 38 Sudio workers can collect right away.
