Still Nothing From Sen. Felag

Patrick Laverty

As you might remember, I sent a few questions to State Senator Walter Felag on April 30. I guess Hummel was right when he showed us that members of the Assembly do not respond to non-constituents. More than a week later and no response from the Senator. I guess I shouldn't hold my breath, but it's just another example of how the don't feel accountable to the taxpayers and voters of Rhode Island.

Don't feel bad...I contacted my OWN State Rep on something about three weeks ago and did not even get the obligatory auto-response never mind an answer to my question. Oh that's right...he's not up for re-election this year.

What RI needs is a smaller legislature so that these reps can have more constituents.

They do such an awesome job responding to the needs and concerns of the constituents they have.
