Iowahawk's Twitter Imponderables for the President

Monique Chartier

Last week, President Obama held (I'm appalled to type the phrase) a Twitter Town Hall.

Below is a sampling of the questions posed to the President by Iowahawk. (Regrettably, the President offered answers to none of them.)

Would you get tougher with Iran if you knew they were working with Scott Walker?

If we reneg on the debt, where's the best place to hide our stuff from the repo men?

If ATMs are so bad, why do you keep treating me like one?

If Eric Holder gets indicted in Operation Fast & Furious, should he get a civilian trial?

If we eat the rich, what do we get for dessert?

if punishing employers results in more employment, can you also punish beer makers?

Not last and certainly not least,

When you create jobs, why do always create them for Texas?

When you inherited an economic meltdown that was global and two costly wars where did you think the country would be in three years?

Phil,

Consider the situation when Reagan took office. What he did was come out and address the American people. As president, there wasn't much he could really do, but he gave hope and faith. Obama is "just there".

I find myself agreeing with you about Obama's conservation with the country not being as effective as Reagan's. Reagan inherited an economy not as bad as Obama's. There was a costly cold war with the Soviet Union and there were U.S. hostages in Iran but I don't think that that can equate with the two wars that Obama has had to manage. If memory serves no Congressman yelled "You lied" as Reagan was addressing the Congress. The Democratic Congress found a way to work with the Administration and we are seeing the short sighted way this Republican Congress is not working with this Administration.
