Regarding the $2 Trillion in "Cuts" for the Proposed Raise in the Debt Limit Ceiling

This is precisely why neither party can be trusted any more with stewardship of the country.

The only way to fix this mess is to completely re-engineer the system. Cut is a political word. Abolish is an action word. Abolish, eliminate, terminate, end, defund.... that's how you fix it!

The tax increases will surely come, but the "cuts" will never see the light of day and both sides know this. Honestly, that's why there is really no difference between Republican and Democrat. They may say there's a difference and they may claim to support different things on paper, but there is only 1 thing both parties desire and that is increased power. Everything else is just sugar-coated BS.
