Words Fail

Justin Katz

A brief and wholly inadequate explanation for my silence, this week.

I am sorry, Justin.
There sre no adequate words to express the complex web of emotions when you lose your Mom.
Perhaps you'll feel a sense of comfort knowing that you are not alone in your thoughts. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
God rest her soul.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Justin, my deepest sympathy to you and your family. God Bless.

Any of us who've lost a parent and/or a sibling can empathize with what you're going through.
Your mom is still with you. The earthly vessel she arrived in was laid to rest.

Justin,
Sorry for your loss. I don't often pray, but I will remember you and your family next time I do find myself in a conversation with god.
Peace
Swazool

Wear her hat well, Justin.

My own mother's influence magically appears in my writing when I least expect it.
