2010 Election Night 10:30 Ticker

Carroll Andrew Morse

[10:57] R-Christopher Ottiano defeats incumbent D-Charles Levesque in Senate 11, 55-45.

[10:54] And speaking of squeakers, incumbent R-David Bates holds on against D-Jim Hasenfus in Barrington/Bristol (District 32) 51.6-48.4.

[10:53] R-Nicholas Kettle wins the Senate seat he knocked Leo Blais out of in the primary (District 21), in a 3-way squeaker 39.5-37.6-22.9.

[10:48] R-Glen Shibley defeats D-Frank "Mister" Hyde 56-44, for what I believe was the seat that Lou Raptakis vacated to run for SoS.

[10:47] Incumbent R-Frank Maher wins re-election in Senate 34, 56-44.

[10:45] R-Dawson Hodgson wins in Senate 35, 54-46.

[10:41] R-Beth Moura has won in Senate 19, 51.4-48.6

[10:33] R-Dan Reilly beats incumbent D-Amy Rice in House 72, 52.1-47.9!

Amy Rice and Chuckie Levesque both knocked off in one night! And Connors seat in Cumberland goes GOP!!!

Who could ask for anything more?

We have to look nationwide for good results tonight but getting rid of open communists Amy Rice and Chuck Levesque has to bring a smile to all.
My Senator, the useless two-legged union worm Bea Lanzi survives yet again. She has come within a hundred or so votes of losing multiple primaries and generals over the last decade. Damn all the stupid people in this state.
Imagine what "drama" there will be on Smith Hill come January with a $350 million deficit, a Republican House which won't send another dime in bailout money and a Governor committed to no local aid cuts.
Get ready for a fun ride come January

Hooray for Beth Moura! She won the seat that was formerly occupied by Dan Connors. That same Dan Connors who jumped up and killed Marc Cote's bill.

I wonder who TPW will get to do her dirty work now. At least I know it won't be my Senator.

I didn't want to see Amy win, but you have to admit you will miss watching her on Capitol TV. She was entertaining, because I, like Joe said before, think that she was on the sauce.
