The Unwelcome Job Creation that Would be Engendered by Healthcare Reform

Monique Chartier

... points out Mark Steyn.

Meanwhile, Obamacare will result in the creation of at least 16,500 new jobs. Doctors? Nurses? Ha! Dream on, suckers. That’s 16,500 new IRS agents, who’ll be needed to check whether you – yes, you, Mr and Mrs Hopendope of 27 Hopeychangey Gardens - are in compliance with the 15 tax increases and dozens of new federal mandates the Deemocrats are about to “deem” into existence. This will be the biggest expansion of the IRS since World War Two – and that’s change you can believe in. This is what “health” “care” “reform” boils down to: Fewer doctors, longer wait times, but more bureaucrats.

Oh, goody. Not more doctors - more regulators.

Comments

This is a cleverly disguised bailout for the light plane industry.

Time to arm ourselves. I'm seeing more and more comments about armed revolution. And vote for Nancy P to be first against the wall.
Seriously, if this bill passes, life for all of us is going to get a lot less pleasant.

If you are not already armed, shame on you.
The leftists can laugh and sneer all they want, but they will disarm me when I am dead.I haven't got much to lose, since I have a foot in the grave right now.I swear I will not go out alone.
This said I REALLY hope none of this has to be a reality, because I want this country to go on peacefully as the beacon of freedom forever(or at least for a good long time).

You folks are funny.
Only in the most paranoid of minds would there exist the possibility of armed revolution against our government.

A bunch of brown shirts, IMHO.

When you lose at the ballot box, you cry and scream and threaten. Luckily, the likes of you are a tiny....really tiny...but loud minority.

Vote. If you don't like the outcome, move.

Texas, SC and many others are waiting with open arms to receive you.

As to being scared of the IRS, let me quote the right wing when they heard the Federal Government - through the Patriot Act - was listening to their every word and email "Hey, if you have nothing to hide, why should you care".

I honestly have not seen a bigger bunch of hypocrites in my entire lifetime. What is it you don't like about democracy and voting?

Hypocrites?I think it's hypocritical to lecture people while hiding behind an alias.
I actually haven't referred to "revolution"nor even resisting the police if they have a legal reason to bother me.I can't picture such a situation, since I haven't any desire to commit a crime.
What I'm talking about is not laying down for an illegal action by a rogue government. There are 80 million gun owners in the US.If 10% resisted any attempted disarmament do the math.It wouldn't be so funny then for Stuart and those scumbags who initiated it.
I will leave it at that.
I don't consider the police and army the enemy.
I think the enemy lurks like cancer in OFA,moveon.org,etc.
There were a certain group in Europe who were denied access to arms and look what happened there.
The Yugoslavs did have access to arms and tied the Nazis down for 5 years.
It's a shame some people will never learn.
Hey,Stuart-you're allegedly self-employed,so why not grow a pair and tell us who you are?
