Moderating Expectations

Carroll Andrew Morse

I heard Rhode Island Moderate Party Chairman Ken Block on WPRO (630 AM) with John DePetro earlier this morning, discussing how he believes a "fresh face" may be the best option for a Moderate candidate for Rhode Island governor.

Sounds like the Moderate party's talks with that "prominent former public official", whoever he or she was, didn't end very well.

Comments

Yeah, also sounds like Ken's from the Trump school of marketing where whatever you're doing, it's the biggest, best and only choice for anyone.

I'd wait and see what happens before rushing to judgement. The Moderate Party is doing everything right so far so I think they've earned a wait and see reaction over speculation.

Steve A,

The Moderate Party "has done everything right so far"?

Does that include actively courting Lincoln Chafee to run for governor under their banner? Does that include hosting fundraisers with Scott Avedisian, the tax hiking Mayor of Warwick? Does that include hiring the former spokeswoman for Elizabeth Dennigan, who is running for Congress to the LEFT of James Langevin!

Were these the things you were referring to as "everything right"? Get back to me, I'd love to know.

Is Ken Block listening? Oh whoah Oh, No reply at all!
