Grim Milestone, Not the Last

Justin Katz

Rhode Island has now (already) hit double-digit unemployment, at 10%, trailing only Michigan, with 10.6%. At this rate, we'll be lucky not to peak at 15% or greater.

"Not the last" is an understatement. The chickens have come home....to roost>
Congratulations "progressives". You wanted an all-union, all-welfare, all-crony, all-illegal alien government and you got it.
Great job!
Now reap the whirlwind.

Always nice to see that somebody takes joy in a whole state's pain.
It rains on everyone, both the just and the unjust.

No joy here.

Merely dismay that the General Assembly will probably not allow the kind of structural reforms necessary to make Rhode Island economically competitive.

The Sasse tax increase proposal being one big clue, allowing them to claim that they've kept their promise not to raise broad-based tax rates on the existing taxes, and enacting the increases under the guise of tax system reform.

We compete with 49 other states, and virtually all of them are better places for employers to set up shop than here.

At present there is no REALISTIC optimistic scenario for Rhode Island in the short, intermediate or long term. Rhode Island has great economic potential, but will squander it, as it always has.

Rhody-
You have NO IDEA how much joy this is causing me.

Mike, you've said much more about your own mentality than anyone else here possibly can.

Boo-hoo-hoo
Today the teachers in EP (part of the pedophile infested AFT) received paychecks which for some are over 10% less than their last paychecks.
For once, in my 40+ years in this corrupt cesspool I am seeing some "rain" fall on the unjust.
For once.
Boy am I happy.

People, I beg you:
Keep buying cross-border and online!
ScrewRI-and the crooks who run it.

When I see someone this obsessed with pedophiles, it makes me wonder whether the speaker is projecting.
Not an accusation. Just a thought.

Not obsessed with pedophiles, just apologists for them-like you-who support the "right" of these pathetic f*** to "marry", get a fresh supply of little boys from the state, rape them and then get let off by another "progressive hero" of yours Patrick Lynch.
Hey Rhody-is your real name Sedonio by any chance?
Not an accusation. Just a thought.

Mike, you're only an embarassment to yourself, not to me nor anyone else.
And please put that chicken down.
