Agreed. There was precious little coverage of McCain's role in the Keating Five scandal, especially in the aftermath of the credit crisis.

Also, his links to the discredited loony right "economists" like Phil Gramm were never explored in much depth at all. It's interesting that the talk of Phil being the Treasury Secretary died down quite a bit once the deregulation-inspired market crash took place. Even Greenspan admitted the flaws of those like himself who prayed at the altar of deregulation for the last 30 years.

Now that Comrade Greenspan has outed himself, as a double agent, I feel it incumbent to reveal (much as Cheney did with Plame) his true name, Alan Pinkspan. Comrade Pinkspan was appointed head of the Fed so that he could destroy the free market system and advance the cause of socialism in the United States. Bankers of the world unite. You have nothing to loose but your bonds.
