Local Candidate Arrested in Newport

Carroll Andrew Morse

Will Ricci of the Ocean State Republican has the scoop on a breaking news story involving a name very familiar in Rhode Island's blogosphere...

Comments, although monitored, are not necessarily representative of the views Anchor Rising's contributors or approved by them. We reserve the right to delete or modify comments for any reason.

Thanks for noticing. I've also posted an update, since the Newport Daily News has also picked up on it as well (but I got it first!).

Considering who it is, it's certainly interesting. However, the timing is more than a little suspect if you ask me.

PS Speaking of candidates, has anyone noticed a problem with the Secretary of State's candidate database (like, it's not working at all)? Hopefully, it's temporary.

So the time share salesman is going to be sharing some time in the pokey, eh?

Awwww.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I'm SURE it's not his first arrest.

It took the Newport police a year to arrest this guy? That's a problem. Was he a threat to the public or not?

Bobby O. has been threatening people for years.

It looks like the police finally did something.

He sure didn't Hillary's defeat well.
Guess the Bobby O Guide to Success with the Ladies won't be finding a publisher soon.

Hi Will,
The Secretary of State's site is working just fine. It's the Canvassing Authority in East Providence that's not working properly.
