Haldeman Loses to Shanley

Alas, Jim Haldeman has been defeated by John Patrick Shanley in Rhode Island's 35th General Assembly District, 58.5%-41.5%.

"Alas" is right. Shanley is a real trougher.

Haldeman conducted an excellent campaign (having a very good campaign manager didn't hurt) and would have made an outstanding rep. Hopefully, he will stay engaged and run again in two years.
