A Sequence of Plans
My latest FactIs column, "When Plan B Becomes Plan A," suggests that something is awry when a drug that requires a prescription for low concentrations is on track for over-the-counter status in higher concentrations. Of course, Plan B is a "birth control" pill; such does sex — and the consequences thereof — skew Western minds.
Why is this at all surprising?
We live in a world where a school nurse is not permitted to give a 12 year old girl an aspirin, but if the pre-teen is pregnant, and not as popular in school, the child is deemed mentally competent to choose a medical operation, an abortion. Never mind the parents' rights as legal guardians of 12 year old children with the normally attendant rights to determine what is best for their children.
Further, pro-abortion rights mongers even argue that parents should not even be NOTIFIED.
All because abortions are holy, and have rights.
